The National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (NAFEPA) has a rich history of advocating for federal education programs in support of America's youth. Additionally, NAFEPA provides support for America's educators working hard to maximize the return on investment of federal dollars allocated for education. Membership in the Minnesota Association of Administrators of State and Federal Education Programs (MASFEP) organization offers a wide-range of opportunities, resources, and up-dates. The organization is dedicated to proactively empowering educational leaders and instructional staff to implement effective State and Federal Programs to increase student achievement and meet the needs of the students of Minnesota.
NAFEPA / MAASFEP provides quick accessibility to legislative updates, current breaking news affecting federal programs, and changes in federal statutes, laws, regulations, policies, audits, and compliance resources.
MAASFEP, along with the Minnesota Department of Education ESEA Federal Title Programs Division, provides workshops and trainings, leadership seminars, conferences, networking opportunities, individual technical assistance, etc.
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), currently authorized as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015, is federal legislation that promotes student achievement through school and district reform. ESSA requires each state to develop and implement a system for holding all districts and schools accountable for the education of students.
